New In Niche: The Width of Niche - Part One

With so many upcoming launches of niche fragrance, perfumistos are experiencing an abundance of riches. There was a time, not too long ago, that finding a great niche fragrance was like hunting for buried treasure. Today, we have Treasure Island.

Thanks for another informative installment in the NiN series from Michelyn. If only these were more frequent. Anxiously awaiting the the new Baume au Doge considering that spicy scents and Duchaufour creations work very well with my chemistry.

I was honored to be mentioned in the latest edition of "New In Niche" by Michelyn Camen. I tell you - this woman is Psychic! It's uncanny how she picked up on the inspirations that wafted through my mind while I was creating "Jitterbug"!!! I was literally listening to Nina Simone ("Sugar in My Bowl, " I Put a Spell on You"), and visualizing Dita V doing a dance...

Thanks Michelyn, for your creative and incredibly insightful review!

Hi Kedra... That's me the Pyschic Perfumista, now I need a deck of tarot cards and my own infomercial , lol. Actually, your fragrance is so evocative, that anyone familiar with fine fragrance, Nina Simone and with Dita, might have drawn the same conclusion. I am so happy I was able to caputure your newest fragrance so accurately. And for all you skeptics, Kedra and I have never met and I SERIOUSLY had no idea that I was on target. So the credit is really to Opus Oils, I am just a good translator!-MC

Thank you Cab Calloway:

If you'd like to be a jitter bug,
First thing you must do is get a jug,
Put whiskey, wine and gin within,
And shake it all up and then begin.
Grab a cup and start to toss,
You are drinking jitter sauce!
Don't you worry, you just mug,
And then you'll be a jitter bug!

Oh yea

Another great New in Niche column! After wading through reams of verbiage elsewhere, it's refreshing to find something so succinct, insightful, and comprehensive. And, I gather, intuitive. Good to hear about the Baume au Doge. I haven't seen it reviewed anywhere else. It's always nice to be among the first to know.
