New: Magical Moon by Hanae Mori *Basenotes Exclusive*

Basenotes has the world exclusive on the new fragrance from Hanae Mori - the first fragrance since 1998's Haute Couture.


Magical Moon is encased in a bottle designed by Pochet Glassworks, and is adorned by flecks of blue moonstone. The cap is sculpted glass, and the box design follows the traditional Hanae Mori palette: Red for parfum, Blue for Eau de Parfum and Pink for Eau de Toilette.

Magical Moon actually started on its path to Nordstrom's and select Bloomingdale's stores on August 1, the birthday of legendary fashion designer Hanae Mori.

a hanae mori person was very proud to make me smell the perfume! the box and the bottle are very cute- it really looks like a moon but when i sniffed it it smelled almost like the Butterfly! so I just politely smiled and said people will like it!
