As the later posts have indicated, and you confirmed by a description of the box, I was wrong to think that perhaps we were referring to Special Reserve. Please ignore my comments, they were in...

Sampled at Bergdorf's: it's a very subtle smelling classy fragrance. Not earth shattering, but nice, subtle and sophisticated, with a Mark Birley sensibility.

Re: Old Fashioned Soap Scent
Paul Stuart's Sandalwood and Arden Sandalwood for Men are very lovely soapy scents. Strong on initial application, but soapy all the way.

Trumper's Spanish Leather reminds you of Yardley's lavender brilliantine!? Boy, that's something; I would be hard pressed to think of two more dissimilar fragrances than that leather/soap and the...

Re: Aramis Classic EDT Concentrate
Now, is the box you saw different from the standard Aramis box, in that it is (if I can recall) principally in a solid color? If it is, then this is what we here previously called "Special Reserve"...

I believe Ghurka has a lovely one for about $100. A bit pricey, but nice leather.

Love the colors and I agree with AnthonyDG, they are a tad delicate. Once a year (mid-Jan) Bergdorf's Mens Store in NYC has a sale that includes some Charvets. Not necessarily the iconic colorful...

Well, as someone who wore Bel Ami at the time it first came out, and for several years thereafter, I have to say I personally I like the (modest) reformulation. This might be due to the fact that...

100ml for things I love because there's always the chance of discontinuation.
New stuff 1/32 of an oz, because that's what Luckyscents offers.

I own Antico Caruso, and would not necessarily recommend it. I think Victrix is great if you like green, grassy fragrances. Otherwise, save you dough, you're gonna need it in this economy.
