Re: What Was The Fragrance That Got You Started?

It had to be Curve. I was 13 then, and that was the first fragrance I had ever received. I still have a thing for it's drydown, and I think I might revisit it soon.

An ugly, damp weather scent?

So, it has just struck me that I'm going to need a scent for days that are BAD, since they do happen from time to time. What's good for a damp, ugly, no-light, humid day?

Carnal Flower(tiny tiny decant!)

I'm starting to go from mainstream frangrances to niche very quickly, and I've read some very interesting things about Carnal Flower. I'd like to try it out myself (and on my girlfriend), and am...

Re: Tom Ford's Black Orchid

You'll probably need to smell it on someone else, as opposed to putting your nose up against your skin. Many fragrances are designed to smell a certain way as it goes through the air. Up close, it...

Re: Help building a sample pack!

ScentMonkey might have a lot of those, including, those that Perfumed Court doesn't have. I'm too lazy to search, but I know they've got quite a selection

Re: Which fragrances have the highest sillage and or longevity?

About enhancing sillage and longevity: apply to warmer areas of the body and use jojoba oil? I JUST learned today that the back of the neck is better for applications than the front of the neck. Are...

Re: Looking for a unique winter-time fragrance

I find it very strange that ScentMonkey has the 2 oz. refill of alien, but not the actual 2 oz. spray.
Oh, and let's say my girlfriend uses Black Cashmere. I know that 3 sprays is overkill, so how...

Re: Looking for a unique winter-time fragrance

We just got back from sniffing around! Looks like our top 3 favorites are Black Cashmere, Alien, and Dior Addict. Maybe we'll try L'Eau Par Kenzo again when spring rolls around. It seemed to smell...

Re: Looking for a unique winter-time fragrance

Ahh, I remember Mania. She did like Mania at first, though I thought it was a little too sweet. Maybe it develops better? We'll give it another try. Organza too, once we get back to Sephora's.

In...

Looking for a unique winter-time fragrance

So! My girlfriend and I are looking for her signature scent. We definitely want something unique, but not so far-out that she can't wear it most of the time. I've got a little list of what she's...

Re: cold weather: does it affect you?

Hey, I live right here in Manhattan!
Not very good weather at allll, but I just try to stay indoors.
At least it LOOKS nice!
Plus, the cold weather beckons you to cuddle and sip hot chocolate. :D

Reformulated Fahrenheit

I see rumors every once in a while in older threads about Fahrenheit being reformulated, and today I got my bottle of it. A month earlier, I got a tester from Sephora from one of their relatively...

Re: Her birthday

I personally don't think age is an issue. I mean, twenty years from now, it'll ONLY be a 3 year difference. Proportions change, man.
