Re: If Marine/Blue Scents were the trend for the 90's..Then ______ scents=The 2000's

Well, my point is that the "search" (not sure what your criteria was) was inaccurate, because the only 2 I've tried on that list were not aquatics. And my second point is, which is what we were...

Re: If Marine/Blue Scents were the trend for the 90's..Then ______ scents=The 2000's

Actually, that's a pretty small sample size when you take into consideration how many fragrances are produced each year. I'm sure the list of Orientals could blow that list away.

BTW, Sky and...

Re: If Marine/Blue Scents were the trend for the 90's..Then ______ scents=The 2000's

I agree, Aquatics have certainly slown down. You'll have the Summer Editions that are quite popular nowadays, but over the past few years there has been a major decline in the amount of Aquatic...

Re: Best of the CK one summer versions?

I own every one of them except for 06, and I would have to give the nod to 08. They're all really good scents, none of which are alike and smell nothing like the original CK One.

04---Green,...

Re: Canali men or Gucci pour homme II?

In my experiences thus far, Gucci II does very little for me as well, other than attract the opposite sex. I mean, I was hoping for it to possibly turn me into another person, maybe a successful...

Re: Versace Metal Jeans fans...

I smell a reading comprehension issue... I wasnt making a statement, I was asking a question with a little sarcasm thrown in. That's what this "?" symbol means, BTW, it's called a question mark. ...

Re: If you already have .....X (fragrance)....you don't really need ....Y.....!

Happy for Men? Bursting with oranges and limes compared to AdG's sour-fruity-aquatic? Wow, now I've heard it all! Halston Unbound is the only thing I've ever smelled that is even close to AdG.

Re: diptyque oyedo

Someone said they think Oyedo is sour... wow, I never imagined it would get that description. Thick sweetness. And since sweet and sour are opposites, I dont agree with the sour description at all....

Re: Versace, Black Jeans

I'm probably Metal Jeans' biggest fan around here, and it is great! Completely different frag from that of Black Jeans, but both are very well done. I cant believe that at one time, Metal Jeans...

Re: Versace, Black Jeans

Always reminds me of Mexican food for some reason. Not a bad thing, but there's something in it that keeps bringing me back to that, no idea why.

Re: Finally stopped trying to be sexy...

I hear ya, Carlos. I realized awhile back when I really started to have an affinity for the CK One and Tommy H Summer editions, that "sexy" just wasnt in the cards for me after that point. But...

Re: Let's talk Aquatics (Don't be Afraid)

Yeah, there was a really great thread awhile back discussing the difference between the two. Scents like Kenzo PH, Erolfa, and Bvlgari Aqva were listed in the Marine category because of exactly what...

Re: Let's talk Aquatics (Don't be Afraid)

And that reason is because it's not really aquatic at all. Aside from the name including the word Aqva, it's much more a marine scent (i.e. Kenzo PH).

Re: Recommend a non offensive fragrance

Mojo by Austin Powers (Gendarme). Seriously. In the same vein as Gendarme, with a fruity-clean feel. And it's very inexpensive... 4.2 oz for about $25 at www.gendarme.com (http://www.gendarme.com)...
