Re: Millesime Imperial / Unforgivable Question

I agree with above. Though they are similar, MI has a more substantive, punchy feel to it. Also, the opening in MI is stronger and more impressive than Unforgivable.

My advice: Treat yourself...

Re: Should I give TDH another try?

Ditto.

I have tried, several times in fact, to like this fragrance, but it just smells nasty most of the time. To me, TDH reminds me of old, wet logs in a damp forest. That is not what I want to...

Re: One house for all occasions

After all the Creed bashing here a few months ago, I'm glad to see it's still highly regarded by Basenoters. Yes, it's certainly a house for all seasons.

Re: It's all in the Frequency

With the Internet and online shopping, getting perfume samples and decants is easier than ever. Back in the 70's and 80's (and before), the only way to get a sample of a perfume would be to go to a...

Not sure if it's a masterpiece, but Chanel Allure Homme Sport is one of my favorites, and guess what ...

Re: Worst Fragrance Ever???

Yes, a fake AdG would be bad, but the real one is quite nice.

Re: 'I wouldn't wear that if you paid me......

Hilarious, but so true, I agree 100%.

No one could pay me to wear Kenneth Cole Reaction - -
another one with a sharp urine smell. Nasty!

Re: Who is wearing azzaro chrome for this summer 09?

Come to think about it, I wore it last week. A bit stronger (more "metallic"? - - LOL) than Armani Code or AdG. Quite longlasting too - - Sprayed it on around 8:00 AM and it was still going strong...

Re: The Most Sensual Fragrance Poll!

One comes to mind instantly ... Jaipur Homme by Boucheron (eau de parfum).

It's everything you describe above with an added element of the exotic and mysterious. Fantastic!

Re: Terre d´Hermes is a masterpice?

Excellent response, PhinClio .... Further proof that when it comes to fragrances, evey person perceives a scent in a different way.

BTW, a walk through a damp forest DOES sound like fun!

Re: My first Creed experience: Imperial Millesime

To jasonx: I think I know why Millésime Impérial fell flat on you.

Never, but NEVER should Millésime Impérial be applied from a vial. That juice needs to be SPRAYED on! If possible, get a...

Re: The Most Overrated/Underrated Fragrance

I like Creed frags for their depth and complexity, but what makes I AM KING so pleasant is that it's much lighter and not as heavy as the Creeds. Some might call this a rip-off, but there are times...

Re: Terre d´Hermes is a masterpice?

I tried Terre d´Hermes today for the first time and DID NOT LIKE IT.

The scent was dark, brooding and reminded me of a long walk through a damp forest.

Re: Thierry Mugler Angel's and straight man!

Interesting thread about male / female fragrances.

I have never worn a "female" fragrance, yet I love and wear Jaipur Pour Homme which is indeed a very "feminine" scent. I guess in a parallel...
