Re: Balmain recommendations
Monsieur Balmain EDT is very good with a ton of excellent lemons followed by great sandalwood. Highly recommended and inexpensive to boot. Surprising longevity.

Re: Molinard recommendations
Habanita EDT is interesting, but very hardcore and to me barely wearable it's so harsh. It takes about five hours to reach its pleasant basenotes of powdery vanilla.

Yatagan on me doesn't behave 'powerfully'. It's almost bashful in its sillage. Smalto is great provided I apply judiciously. Oscar's too thick and dense. Azzaro's too arid. Lapidus' pineapple is too...

Romeo Gigli per Uomo: funny bottle, funny cap, funny scent - loads of notes leading to something nondescript and vaguely cheap smelling.

Re: Narrowed to Two......Kors vs. Chanel
Antaeus is stylish, but very soft and 'effeminate' in the drydown. Kors has a booziness that doesn't appeal to me, but smells good on others.
