Re: New Funny fragrance from Moschino

Looks like a variation on Moschino Couture! (which I really liked when it came out) except that there is the trendy orange on top (which I also really like). Will look forward to trying this one! ...

Re: ** TABU ** your opinions please

I tried Tabu a few years ago and disliked it. I found it nauseatingly sweet. I had been wanting to try it again for quite a while, though, so yesterday I finally bought a bottle of Tabu edc spray. ...

Re: Divas by Ungaro - anyone tried?

I just googled this because I was curious myself. There is a "Divas" perfume by Ungaro, as well as Diva (the original one you remember), and Fleur de Diva. I don't know the notes for Divas, however.

Re: Lily

Annick Goutal's Grand Amour is one I used to wear a lot that has a very lush lily note - like white Easter lilies that fragrance an entire room. I just threw my old bottle away, the last little bit...

Re: Chris 1947 - Dior

That's very cute. I played the jackpot game, but I didn't win (didn't relaly expect to!).

I've never sniffed it, but cranberry is listed as a note, and I'm not fond of cranberry.

Dave, the...

Re: In Praise Of Dior

Love Dior. There's something for everybody - classic, modern, old, new, light & fresh to sultry & oriental. Dior can usually satisfy whatever fragrance mood I'm in. Currently, I have Dune and...

Eau d'Hadrien, Hubby's Eau Sauvage, EA Spiced Green Tea, Diorissimo, Jean Nate. I have a hankering for AA Angelique Lilas, but sitting on the fence about it. My latest discoveries are Emeraude,...

Re: What scented products do you wish they'd release as perfumes?

Shower to Shower Body Powder - a very fresh fragrance that becomes ever so slightly spicy. I really love the scent.

Crabtree & Evelyn Jojoba Soaps - the ones shaped like seashells. They smell...

Re: which TYPE of scent makes you go..wow he smells good.

I like woodsy/spicy scents men's scents - orientals I suppose - long as they're applied lightly and not hosed on. I like patchouli in men's scents, too. :)

I love drugstore cheapies! So much pleasure for next to no money. :) Two of my current favorites are Jean Nate concentrated cologne and Charlie White. I wear them quite frequently. I also like...

Re: Dunhill

Yes, I have had the same experience - what I love on a paper strip doesn't always work on my skin, and vice versa. Thanks very much! :)

Dunhill

I smelled a Dunhill fragrance on a strip in this morning's NY Times travel magazine. But I see in the Basenotes directory that there are a number of Dunhill scents. Which one was this? It just...

Re: Chypres for summer

One I'm looking forward to trying is the new Chance eau Fraiche. An old classic chypre that I like very much is Y (YSL), which in edt would be nice for summer. Probably have to purchase it online,...

I know what you mean. That ad campaign just makes me shake my old shaggy head. But I have a feeling that I am going to love this scent, and I can't wait to try it. :D

Re: Guess that fragrance (true story)

I love Fracas on summer evenings. It smells nice on me, too. Very "clean," I'm told. Actually, though, I'm tired of it - but that is a different thing. Yes, chemistry is certainly interesting!

Re: Ciara, Charlie, Love's Baby Soft, Wild Musk...which one would it be?

I wore Charlie, Jontue, and some of the Love's scents, but I wouldn't go for them now, although that Love's Jasminey Musk might tempt me. Cachet was nice, I had that one, too. However, my very SOTD...

Re: Guess that fragrance (true story)

I don't get silly putty at all in Fracas. I would have gone with the Hypnotic Poison/Castelbejac answer. Interesting.

Re: What fragrances help you "de-stress"?

I'm into single note aromatherapy type scents, and eau de colognes. They are refreshing, help me destress and refocus. I like citrus, mints, rose, jasmine, tea scents, lavender.
