John Varvatos. The top and heart notes fade within 3 hours, but the leather/vanilla base can last up to 24 hours (typically about 18, though), and has even managed to withstand two showers once.

I've smelled a sample of it, and it strongly reminds me of the hodgepodge of scents you get as soon as you step into the perfume department of any big department store.

I agree with everso. It must be a letdown to pay between $150 and $200 for something that smells identical to a cheap '80s cologne.
