Re: Bulk purchase of Le Labo Rose Allowed?

I'd be interested in a group purchase of either 31 or 40. My daughter has some nice 60 ml. (2 oz.) perfume bottles and all of the stuff to do the decanting.

I'm open to any suggestions.

Re: An Inexpensive Men's Scent that should be more expensive

Could not agree more. It is much more wearable than most creeds I've tried...how does Caron do it? (said semi-rhetorically)

Re: Which fragrance "haunts" you?

Clinique Happy for women haunts me. The hottest chick I've ever dated/loved wore it. To bad she used it to cover the booze seeping from her pores. I still love them both, but after the knife attack,...

Re: Forest / pine fragrance

Another good one is Sud Est di Romeo Gigli (http://www.basenotes.net/ID26121532.html). Discontinued, but available in the "for sale" pages here.

Re: 3 Fragrances for 3 Lovely Ladies

I'd recommend Donna Karan Black Cashmere for all three of them for starters. Granny probably isn't looking for a man (or maybe she is), I'm not sure about your Mother and your GF probably is...

Re: Rose 31 - Le Labo, What is going on here?

This should be in another thread, but I think 3rd Man and l'Homme Sage share this quality.

Re: Decant Sales or Swaps no longer permitted on BN

The only valid claim anyone can make to support a ban on decants is the that decants are improperly labeled. This would have covered everyone's asses by international law/treaty (there are exceptions...

Re: Decant Sales or Swaps no longer permitted on BN

Thanks for the link Stu, I stand corrected, but what prompted the enforcement of this law (http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~dms/cos-key.html)?...and what risk does ebay assume. The law clearly states Where...

Re: Rose 31 - Le Labo, What is going on here?

Le Labo Rose 31 is quite a pleasant experience. The rose is tempered sufficiently with Vetiver heart notes which evolve into a refreshing combination of oak moss, vetiver, rose and a touch of spice....

Re: Decant Sales or Swaps no longer permitted on BN

Very sad state of affairs.

I suppose I should be grateful for having had the opportunity afforded me with the availability of decants when I first joined BN. Most of what I've learned here was...

I don't know if it's you or not because I haven't tried Prefered Stock, but Feeling Man was my favorite Jil Sander fragrance until I tried JS Background...pretty unbeilvable stuff

I haven't seen the pic for which the thread was started, but I like the pic of Belle En Rykiel. I don't know what the product is, nor do I care.

Re: Phileas for a Blind buy?

I was also inspired by the resent thread to research Phileas. It sounds very well made, but I don't do florals very well, so I passed on a mini that was available for around $10-12.

I'm sure others have suggested Clive Christian 1872. One spray develops an absolute cloud of floral and citrus around the wearer...I'd only wish it wasn't so femme though :(

Nothing else I've...
