Question Re: ezbuyperfumes.com

Did you find A*Men Pure Coffee on that website? I was wondering about this too.

Re: Deodorant?

I'm allergic to antiperspirants, so I use deodorant sticks only. On my fragrance days I use Earth Science Liken Natural Deodorant. Works like a charm when applied liberally. I can go all day with...

Re: my impression of a*men

The late dry-down of Burberry Brit goes to Raid roach spray on my skin. Top and mid notes are fine, but the base notes are absolutely disgusting. Different skin chemistry I guess.

Thumbs up Re: On my skin, A*Men doesn't smell anything like A*Men (same with Chrome)...

UPDATE: Okay so I applied more liberally today. I did a direct shot to the back of the neck, and a direct shot to each inner elbow. These were sprays from a 2.5mL plastic decant mind you, so not...

Re: On my skin, A*Men doesn't smell anything like A*Men (same with Chrome)...

haha, nah. I am going to apply A*Men a little more heavily next time (perhaps do some more testing at home) and see how that goes. I am also testing Bijan Wicked as an alternative to Chrome and...

Question On my skin, A*Men doesn't smell anything like A*Men (same with Chrome)...

Well, today I gave A*Men the first proper wearing (outside of the house that is). I used SirSlarty's recommended method of spraying a light mist and moving into it. I didn't really experience any...

Thumbs up Re: The most BEAUTIFUL fragrance you have tried/own

I don't know if I would call it "beautiful," but man I just love the smell of Mugler Cologne. It's a fantastic fragrance, definitely my favorite!

Question Re: Pure Malt by that one Thierry guy

$99 on Ebay?? Is Pure Coffee discontinued then? If so, will Pure Malt be discontinued as well?

Lightbulb Re: Aqua Di Gio is almost gone...need new fragrance!

My personal AdG replacement is Clinique Happy. I tried various "AdG clones" such as Versace pH, Perry 360 Red, Halston Unbound, etc. I like AdG but it goes sour on my skin and I just don't enjoy...

Question Re: Demeter Fragrances are all I can wear

I hear the problem with Demeter fragrances is that they fade into oblivion after only 30 ~ 60 minutes, even with heavy application. Have you found this to be true? I've never sampled them myself.

Lightbulb Re: "For women" fragrances better made than men's.

As far as sillage and longevity goes, I find men's fragrances to be almost a joke compared to women's. I'm sure this has a lot to do with the EdP vs EdT concentration, however most women's...

Re: Tomato leaves

I completely agree. I don't mind the smell in brief passing, but more than a few whiffs and I am already sick of it.

Re: Nautica Island Edition

L'eau D'issey is an extremely unique smelling fragrance, so I can't recommend much that smells quite like it. I get Japanese florals, mossy water, and a fizzy lump of coal. It vaguely reminds me of...

Lightbulb Re: Armani Code

That's strange. I have cvery dry skin and thus often have longevity issues with various fragrances, however Armani Code lasts at least 6 to 8 hours on my skin if not all day. This is one of the...

Thumbs down Re: Nautica Island Edition

Are you talking about Island Voyage? It's a flanker of Voyage, same bottle but turquoise colored juice?

Its rather synthetic and nasty to my nose. As much as I don't care for Voyage due to it's...

Lightbulb Re: AdG Clone: Halston or PE 360 Red

I replied to your PM a few minutes ago.

I really like 360 Degrees Red, however I wouldn't call it an aquatic. It opens with a somewhat bright citrus ala AdG, however several minutes into the...

Re: Does Halston Unbound Smell Like Clinique Happy Women's?

Take AdG and remove the sourness and pepper, increase the watermelon note and add a creamy tomato leaf note. You now have Unbound.

I completely agree. IMO the tomato leaf does not mix with...

Re: Guess by Marciano for men

To my nose it smells like a spicier, less creamy, less sweet version of Kenneth Cole R.S.V.P. Although I feel Guess is the better fragrance (quality, longevity, sillage, strength), I much prefer the...

Cool Re: I love Mugler Cologne.

I was in Aruba last week and wore it every single day that I was there. It's a perfect "island fragrance."

Re: Kenneth Cole - Black

Honestly I don't see any similarities between Happy and Black. Happy is a fresh, sweet orangey-limey scent reminiscent of AdG. Black is a somewhat soapy sandalwood, incense & lotus. Of course...

Lightbulb Re: Dryer Sheets as a Perfume Substitute???

If you want to smell like dryer sheets or fabric softener, wear CK One Summer 2009. The drydown smells exactly like it.

Re: Appalling Experience with Macy's SA

My local Macy's (located in the shopping mall downtown) is great, and the SA's couldn't be any friendlier. I've been in there 20+ times and have never had a bad experience.

It's hit or miss I...

Re: Fragrances that have actually made you ill

I had some type of reaction to Burberry for Men, which made me physically ill.
Bvlgari Blu Notte makes me queezy any time I simply sniff it. Good thing I was smart enough not to spray that one on...
