Re: SA Rant- Because sometimes you have to!

Well said and giftedly illustrated smiley-wise!
It’s just so awful to be made to feel badly unjustifiably.

Re: Pairing Fragrance and Nail Polish to Create a New Fashion Mood (3:3-min. VIDEO)

I see there's such a thing as peelable nail polish, circumventing the need for polish remover. I could appreciate that, even if it is prone to a short wear life.

Re: funny perfume-related incident...

I’d think “all of the above” predators would rub & roll in a variety of perfume products. Pheromones aside, canines like to get a good stink on. It makes them feel bigger.

Hosting a reunion of gray-haired “kids” who attended the same grade school I did (handsome building demolished before it was even 20yo—grrrr). We live in its predecessor, a 141yo schoolhouse and hope...

Sampling MDCI Invasion Barbare. Again, I can appreciate the quality of the ingredients, but IB is doing nothing for me. If anything, the ginger is burning my nose while the rest of the notes behave...

Re: SotD Friday 20 November

That's a fair (and funny) way to look at it. Will mull that over.
Who can say why I couldn't care less if I never again ate ice cream or cake, but would be dejected to be deprived of caramel apples...

When in doubt about nature/nurture things, I tend to lean toward biological explanations. But why this one whole category leaves me flat, seems peculiar from either angle. Sometimes I wonder if it...

Re: SotD Friday 20 November

I love greens, chypres, florals, citrus, and the occasional sweet berry, but Orientals leave me wholly unmoved. I'm trying Vetiver Oriental right now, in the hope that the vetiver (which I so often...

Re: How far back (date of birth) did you know someone?

That's extraordinary, kbe. I'm certain you perceive history in a better way for your oral-history connections. If we can't find our ties to it directly, I think the past appears virtually unreal.

Question How far back (date of birth) did you know someone?

At our house, history smacks us in the face daily (smacks, in a good way), and I was thinking about Aunt Eva. I remember her fairly clearly. She was actually my dad's aunt. I just looked up her date...

Roberto: I dreamed of horses last night, and I think it was due to your pic from yesters of those unbridled beasts. I was all set to sample Vetiver Oriental today, but, after I shower, I'm going to...

Re: Behind the scenes of the 2001, NYC-based, improvisational movie Perfume (7-min VI

This is a different movie from Susskind’s Perfume: The Story of a Murderer.
