Re: Negative Reviews-Should I write more?

Just remember that what your mother taught you was something cultural and not everyone was brought up in the same way in the US, let alone the rest of the world. For example, this element of...

Re: Profumum Roma.

 That's the last thing I need to know! If they've strengthened Victrix, I may actually reconsider buying a bottle...

Re: Profumum Roma.

I tested a bottle of Victrix, just over a year ago, at the Roja Dove boutique and the juice was as odysseusm described. That clear colour was also the same as my Luckyscent sample. Neither were...

Re: L'instant de Guerlain Eau Extreme

Is it me or didn't the caps used to be the same colour as the rest of the plastic areas of the EDP (i.e. a dark-ish grey)?

Re: Profumum Roma.

This is currently my favourite niche house. I'd say about half of the line is truly worth investigating (and if you can think of a perfume house, with more than 20 creations, devoid of any duds then...

Re: Evody Parfums Paris - new niche perfume line

The shop's closed?! Personally, I'm not surprised as they never put testers out for customers to try but, instead, expected you to smell from a ceramic jar (filled with cotton wool) instead!

This...

Re: Guerlain Héritage Eau de Parfum Review

arlecchino, that's fine. I can only tell you what I know. Hopefully others can chime in and give their two scents. :)

Re: Guerlain Héritage Eau de Parfum Review

I'm afraid not, as the Heritage frame simply adorns the Heritage bottle and nothing more. The refillable sprays, I'm referring to, are more along the lines of containers:

Re: Guerlain Héritage Eau de Parfum Review

arlecchino, I'm afraid to say that your cap is not a Heritage cap - it looks like someone substituted it with a cap from another Guerlain bottle. The cap you have usually comes with Guerlain refills,...

Re: Three New Montales: Gold Flowers, Aoud Forest and Poire

What is it with The Perfumed Court selling Montales that Montale denies ever creating? Remember Fleur d'Oranger?

Re: Three New Montales: Gold Flowers, Aoud Forest and Poire

That's funny because Montale have denied that it even exists (or if it does, is commercially available).

Re: Guerlain Héritage Eau de Parfum Review

After acquiring some back-up bottles of (what I feel to be) the vintage EDP, I've come to the following conclusions:

I believe that the refill bottle was also available in the original...

Re: Is Serge Lutens in a Rut?

Let's see... uninspired new releases and the older creations being reformulated one by one... Doesn't sound good, does it?

Re: New: Ambre Nuit by Dior Homme 'Exclusive line'

Well, it's official: the 'other' website is propped up by the perfume industry. They've even got a photo too! And, no, I'm not going to post the link out of respect.

I've got better things to do than waste my time watching horror movies. I want to get something substantial out of watching a film and refuse to watch such hollow, "Let's see how much you can shit...

Re: Montale Aoud Meloki & Montale Mix Wood - Anybody tried them?

I contacted Montale about these two and they seem to know nothing about them.

Anyway, I can no longer take this house seriously anymore. From a creative point of view, another perfume house bites...

Re: Vetiver Tonka vs. Vetiver Ambrato

No, Vetiver Tonka is richer and much closer to Red Vetyver. If you've smelt Red Vetyver, you will know what to expect. :)

Re: Review of Chanel No 5 - Eau Premiere

Apologies (hazards of posting while at work :D). 'Soft' would certainly be the more appropriate adjective, with regards to this. :)

My dear boy, I've been checking myself but no further information as yet. I'm getting very impatient to try these.
