Re: New Niche Line EgoFacto

I think I mixed up samples before - the one that reminds me of The Dreamer is Piege a Filles. It's currently the only one that interests me. I do not like Sacre Coeur - it's the marine, fresh, locker...

Re: SotD: Saturday, 21st November, 2009

Ugh - another day of contractors in the house working on the bathroom.
I'm wearing Il Profumo Chocolat Amere while I work in the garage - at least I smell nice. :p

Re: Frapin L`Humaniste

I agree with mtxprox05 that it's well made and very pleasant, but it's not anything earth shattering.

Re: New Niche Line EgoFacto

Not at all similar, I don't think... however, I've only done the stick swipe sample method for Turquoise rather than a whole wear. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm smelling, but there's a...

Re: New Niche Line EgoFacto

Woops - shoulda worn that one today. I grabbed Jamais le Dimanche because something about ozone and pot sounded fun for today. I'll report back this weekend about Sacre Coeur.

I'm wearing Ego Facto Jamais le Dimanche today, with a dab of Keiko Mecheri Cuir Cordoba on the back of my hand (both from newly arrived samples).

Re: NEW: Bond no 9 High Line

Cool bottle - the last pile of Bonds have left me cold though, so my hopes are firmly low.

Re: New Niche Line EgoFacto

Luckyscent sent a few of these samples in lieu of the missing Havana Vanille sample I ordered - I'm quite pleased! I'm really enjoying the samples on the backs of my hands now... I may wear one of...

Re: best peppermint for you? try one

Selection Verte for me - the most pepperminty scent without trying to be gimmicky (Demeter) or literal (CdG). However, I don't love it - it's just the best peppermint scent I've tried. :D

Re: How do you change the longevity stars on a fragrance?

It was a removed feature that hasn't been added back yet. However, here's a workaround... copy the link (right click > copy link) that is produced when you go to rate the fragrance by hovering over...

Re: Name your absolute favorite office fragrances

Well, I'm parked in an office all day every day and there aren't many I avoid. ;) However, I know what you mean - I have quite a few, but my most recent buy that seems like it would be a good 'safe'...

I'm wearing Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille today with a few swipes of Parfums de Nicolai Vanilla Tonka on my hand after all the talk of L'Artisan's new Havana Vanille got me in a vanilla mood.

** and...

Re: Review: L'Artisan Havana Vanille

I ordered a sample from luckyscent, but was just notified that my order shipped without it because they'd run out of stock. I think I'll poke on over to the Artisan site and order direct!

Re: which the most stylish

I'm not sure what is meant by "stylish," but I think No. 88 fits the bill for a classic, debonair image. All of them are great though. :)

Hey Fred, these are really impressive. I've got the men's on one hand and women's on the other. I'll post some reviews once I've had a chance to get to know them, but initial impressions are good!...

Re: The Definitive Chanel Eau de Cologne Thread

Yeah, wow! I'd love to see/hold one of those monsters. The 200ml are pretty big in their own right. It's like the Burr (I think it was him? Or Ellena?) assertion that luxury lines use either price or...

Re: Absinthe/Wormwood Fragrances

Yeah, Absolument Absinth was disappointing to me - I was hoping for an absinthe rich, icy scent and got just what you said... a pleasant, but inoffensive soapy scent. It's not bad by any means, but I...
