I don't know if I agree with Chergui for this category. Micheal for Men, perhaps and yes, it's a good fragrance. Baldessarini from Hugo Boss is another I like for its Tobacco notes.

A hobby can be a technical exercise and still be an enjoyable hobby.
The initial task is, I believe, to get conversant with an array of notes by themselves. Building the database, if you like....
