Re: Chaps Weekend
Yes, that scent is great! I like the other chaps scent they had too. But I chose Burberry London over Weekend, it was a hard decision though, I'll admit.

Amber White Oil?
A man earlier today was wearing a very nice scent so I asked him what it was, and he said "amber white". He showed me the bottle, it was a body oil, not a cologne or aftershave, with a yellow bottle...

totally agree. I don't think there's a need to get an expensive niche scent for a first date, just go with something friendly and familiar.

Re: Varvatos Vintage versus Burberry London; help me choose!
honestly they're both a little heavy for me. But I'd say go with Burberry, simply because I own it, and prefer it, because it feels a little more classy and warm.

Re: Allure Homme vs Burberry Brit
Honestly I didn't like Brit at all. I'm not sure why, I just didn't like the vibe it gave me. Sadly I haven't tried Allure Homme, so I can't say anything about that.

Re: Cologne in Athletic Type Clothing?
not at all. I do that a lot too. Of course, wearing Bois Du Portugal in those clothes probably wouldn't fit, but if you wear something like Cool Water, all is well.:)

Re: Cologne, deodorant, aftershave
unscented deodorants are fairly cheap and easy to find.
For aftershave, I would use a cheapo lightly scented balm or gel.
Then comes the cologne.
As for soap, I use a pretty heavily scented...

Re: Which Bvlgari
I've only tried the regular, which was great, but I hear that the extreme version is better because it's more noticeable. Not sure about the Soir, but I haven't heard many good reviews about that.

Re: Cool Water - 'strong' - or not!?
I use it, it's one of my favorite scents. And you're right, for me it lasts about 4-5 hours, then I can only smell it on my wrists. But I do think it's probably stronger to other people than to me...

anyone heard of this? It's a "natural" cologne, it actually smells pretty good. My father wears this, as he's into the vegan thing right now. What do you think?

Cheap Musk Scents?
I was looking for a musky scent, but not one that is overly expensive. I don't need a niche fragrance here, just something that is nice, musky, and manly, but not so cheap you can buy it at walmart....

I use:

Terre d'Hermes is good also, Opium PH is a good bet, but if I were you I'd take him to Sephora's. It's a great place to sample...

Re: Kenneth Cole RSVP is a joke
I thought it smelled good. But I guess I don't wanna spend 200 bucks on a scent that could smell almost identical to something that's worth 20 bucks, just because it's "niche". Is "scent elitist" the...

as far as drug store scents go, I just like old spice or aqua velva ice blue. They're cheap, and they work.
