If you are looking for actual authentic frankincense smells, believe it or not, L'Artisan Navegar has a very good "Boswelllia Sacra" note in it's drydown.

Tauer has several good frankincense based...

Oh, BTW, the sillage, while being uber-uber classy and smelling like money to the extreme, is actually very slightly "bubblegummy". LOL :)

I agree. The newer Monsiuer Balmain is really a very woody scent and the reviews never indicated that. the reviews just claimed lemon lemon lemon.

To me, MB is as fresh, and woodier and more...

I would hope so as I didn't get as much cucumber in Blue as others did, and I'm not averse to cucumber at all. Can anyone speak at greater depth about the drydown? Similarities in any stage?

Perhaps Caraceni isn't the best comparison, as Caraceni is significantly more synthetic, just like Amouage's Lyric man has a very synthetic Rose i disliked.

I have several leather atomizer, but have not decanted it into one yet, as i was in a hurry to get to work.
