Re: can we talk about texture?

When I use the term "powdery" I am often talking about texture, not necessarily the smell of powder. Lots of ingredients can be powdered:...

Mistral Vanille de Bali. It's a fresh yet sweet vanilla amber. I usually wear it in the summer but it is unusually warm here today.

Re: Different strengths of Chanel No. 5 - Please Discuss
I prefer the EDP-bigger, heavier floral with less aldehydes (it seems to me), sweeter, less powdery drydown. I'm all about smelling those May roses and Grasse jasmine here....
EDT: MUCH brighter...

Carlo Colucci Donna
I followed a woman on the street Halloween night to ask her what perfume she was wearing. She had an accent I couldn't place and said what I thought was "core-ooch-ey". Could it have been Colucci?!...

DH says it smells like something a child would wear. I sprayed it to get the smell of hamburgers off my clothes but I cannot take it seriously.

BPAL's Hand of Glory, O, or Inez. Magie Noir is also a heady oriental with honey notes.

I usually do 2 and a walk through, then apply again before dinner. If I were spraying it in the car, though, it would have to be 1 with the windows down!

Re: "The lotion is a must for me" what about you?
I used to only wear scented body lotion but they aren't moisturizing enough for me and too $$ for the amt I'd have to use on my dry skin. I'm all about Alba unscented moisturizer these days.
