Re: Rive Gauche...

The fact that someone 17 years old can wear it and "pull it off" doesn't really answer your question since you yourself state that "age doesn't matter." And BTW, this proves nothing, IMO about a...

Re: Best italian fragrance for men

Your comment made not too long related to "perfume buffonery" or something like that (not connected to Ungaro) I still value for its precision...when describing a fair number of Italian scent...

Re: Negative Reviews-Should I write more?

Yes, when something smells exactly like baby powder DON'T say that.

Say instead that "It smells like the talc of neonates."

Re: Aramis but more subdued

You may realize that with careful application Aramis itself is IT.

In a moment I'll be putting on one shot...just for the sake of doing it. A winner.

Re: Aramis but more subdued

The more I think about it Devin might be your best first step. While you can think of it as more subdued, it's also persistent.

Re: Negative Reviews-Should I write more?

There's a fine line between "appreciating a scent" and "appreciating one's ability to appreciate it."

Negative or positive I can't stand plodding reviews...

Re: Aramis but more subdued

I would agree with that as well as a 1 shot cologne mist application. But to be fair to the OP, the options of other scents mentioned are good ones.

Re: I tried Brut

Had to join in and will be putting on some Brut in a just awhile. Hands down my favorite everyday scent.

The "negative image" stuff I really don't care about anymore since the "positive image"...

Re: Blenheim or Pino Silvestre?

This is not to bash Pino Silvestre, but here's where I must use that famous phrase "on my skin" it emerges after the citrus takes leave, for the most part as an incense scent. Why do I say this? ...

Re: Returned Creed Himalaya Today

Last time I looked a cologne counter is not a laboratory or testing center or a customer service in an electronics place to see if the TV you are returning out of the box has not been broken.

If...

Re: For my fathers birthday suggestions

I'm a big believer in giving someone a gift that they would like. No need to "educate" someone on their birthday or whatever occasion.

Do they have Agua Brava there? Similar to Pino Silvestre. ...

Re: Anyone Tried Black XS...

Black XS is my most recent 180. I would disparage it, but now I really like it.
