Re: Profumum Acqua di Sale (Salt Water)

There is no comparison to AdS. Its strongest attribute, besides that it is the most realistic and natural marine fragrance available, is that it layers so amazingly well, albeit expensively. If you...

Re: Male/female flowers (Floris Malmaison)

Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier (MPG) Iris Bleu Gris would suit you very well. It is a cool, "fresca", iris with citrus. I would consider it dry/seque.

Re: Turn up the heat in these neglected houses.

Fragonard makes some of the most outstanding, natural-smelling fragrances at half the price of many niche brands. They being Grassois gives them privilege to so many quality ingredients other brands...

Re: Cartier Declaration: What a Fine Scent!

That's what I get from it too and like so much. I really enjoy the shower gel as well. If this were to turn sweet on myself, I would not be so enamored. It stays cool and woody for me. I'm not a fan...

Re: Fragonard Miranda

I own Papa Cheri. It's very natural like all the Fragonards but just a bit generic. It has nice sillage and tenacity. The bergamot/geranium accord is most prominent followed by a cedar/musk drydown....

Re: New Raffy line

I sampled Mogul and it somehow reminded me of a fresher, more modern version of a sporty-fresh-formal '60s-'70s kind of scent. Not bad overall but a bit short lived in the top and mid notes and kind...
